MSK Direct – Guided Cancer Treatment Program

When you are faced with a cancer diagnosis, reliable information and comprehensive care are crucial. As a Morgan Stanley employee, you and your dependents have access to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) – a top hospital for cancer treatment – through MSK Direct. The MSK Direct Guided Cancer Treatment Program gives you access to a team of dedicated professionals who specialize in cancer treatment. Experienced nurses, social workers and care advisors will be there to guide you through the process of getting care at MSK, and oversee your experience every step of the way.

The staff at MSK will:

  • Offer you an appointment with the most appropriate specialist within two business days of speaking with a representative
  • Help you gather necessary medical records in advance of your first appointment
  • Introduce you to MSK facilities and the clinical teams that will be handling your care
  • Answer your questions, coordinate the services you receive and help you navigate critical steps throughout your cancer care experience
  • Optimize your care and ensure your satisfaction
  • Continue to be a resource for you throughout your experience at MSK

Who Can Use this Program ?

All Morgan Stanley employees as well as their:

  • Dependents and adult children
  • Parents and parents-in-law
  • Grandparents

How Much Does this Program Cost?

Access to this program comes at no additional cost, but care provided by MSK will be subject to each individual’s insurance plan. You will need to contact your Plan Administrator to verify your health plan’s coverage.

When Would I Use MSK Direct?

MSK Direct can help you even before you receive a confirmed diagnosis of cancer or if you are looking for a second opinion regarding a diagnosis. You may contact MSK when you receive results from a blood test, imaging exam, or pathology report that may indicate you have cancer, or when another physician recommends that you consult with an oncologist.

Even if you are already in treatment at MSK or elsewhere, you are welcome to use this program. Your treatment team should continue to be your primary point of contact, but the MSK team could advise you of the options you may have as your treatment progresses.

Employees in New York Metro: MSK is located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and has outpatient facilities in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Long Island, Westchester and New Jersey. Employees

Employees Outside of New York Metro: If you are outside the NY Metro area, MSK can recommend hospitals in your area. If you are enrolled in UnitedHealthcare and you do not have a cancer Center of Excellence that can provide the appropriate treatment plan within a 50 mile radius of your home, you may be eligible for a travel benefit. Contact United Healthcare for eligibility information.

Other Cancer Support Programs are offered through UnitedHealthcare and Cigna through the Morgan Stanley Medical Plan

If you enroll in the UnitedHealthcare or Cigna Cancer Support Programs within 30 days of a cancer diagnosis, 100% of in-network treatment is covered after the annual deductible is met.
